Rockford Solar: Rockford, Illinois

  • Prepared Environmental Assessment under NEPA for the proposed Rockford Solar Facility. Preparation of the Environmental Assessment included coordination with multiple federal, state, and local agencies. This Environmental Assessment included wetlands delineation, as well as an assessment of threatened and endangered species. The Environmental Assessment prepared resulted in a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) by two federal agencies: US Department of Energy and Federal Aviation Administration.

Rockford Public School: Rockford, Illinois

  • Conducted bulk sampling at 43 school facilities in accordance with AHERA protocols. Bulk sampling activities enabled revisions to existing Management Plans, saving the Rockford Public School District money and time by reducing the number of materials covered under AHERA at each facility.

  • Prepared multiple mining and air permit applications for quarries. Also, prepared air permit applications for asphalt plants, including testimony at zoning hearings. Prepared CCDD permit applications and provided material certifications.
